be able to demonstrate their personal track record of being an active environmentalist bringing about real world change in relation to sustainability and the climate crisis
be able to commit to collaboration with the University and local community to encourage pledges to Net Zero and tackling the climate crisis

Sussex is offering five £3,000 scholarships to new applicants (in any subject) starting courses in September 2026. Sussex has an ambitious strategic goal: to be one of the most sustainable universities in the world and show global leadership in demonstrating and promoting all forms of environmental, social and economic sustainability at a local, regional, national and international level.
