No, we do not require students to live on campus. However, it is highly recommended by the University.
Apply for admission to UT using either the ApplyTexas or CommonApp application by December 1. Incoming students who do not submit a FAFSA/TASFA will still be considered for scholarships that do not require financial need. But they are optional, and you will be considered for admission whether you submit letters of recommendation or not. We encourage you to provide letters from sources outside of your high school.
