The BSc (Hons) Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and Management is a unique course, the only one of its kind in Scotland, designed to produce graduate-calibre aircraft maintenance engineers. Taught by staff with industrial experience in both military and civilian environments, the program combines academic and technical knowledge, understanding, and skills with personal qualities and leadership necessary for the dynamic aviation industry. It meets the syllabus requirements of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authority (UKCAA) Category B1.1 aircraft maintenance licence syllabus (EASA Part-66), offering the opportunity to obtain an Approved EASA and/or UKCAA Part 66 Certificate of Recognition in addition to an honours level degree, which can reduce the minimum aircraft maintenance experience required before applying for an aircraft maintenance licence.

EU Scholarship (GBP 4,000) - For undergraduate full-time, on-campus BSc, BEng, BSc (Hons) or BEng (Hons) programs, students who have spent the previous three years living in the EU, EEA or Switzerland receive a tuition fee discount of £4,000 per year. For Honours degree students, Year 4 tuition is free.; South Asia Scholarship - For students whose permanent residence is India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, or Sri Lanka, a tuition fee discount of 10% is offered for undergraduate courses of at least one year in duration.; Automatic Scholarship (EU/EEA/Swiss nationals) - Students from EU/EEA and Swiss nationals with pre-settled status who are not self-employed or migrant workers in the UK, and who have spent the previous three years living in the EU/EEA or Switzerland, will get an automatic scholarship for each degree year.
