PhD in Space Physics

The Space Research Laboratory at University of Turku, Finland invites applications for a contract-based, fixed term Doctoral Researcher position for one year and 7 months. /nThe starting time of the position is 1st of February 2026. /nThe position is in the Space Research Laboratory in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Turku, Turku, Finland. /nThe position is funded by a Research Council of Finland project ‘SolShocks’. /nThis position will focus on imaging and spectroscopy of radio shock signatures from the Sun with the Low Frequency Array (LOFAR). /nApplications are to be submitted through the online recruitment system between 9 January 2026 and 23 January 2026 16:00 (Europe/Helsinki).
