PhD in Health Economics

The Centre for Health Economic Research (HEFUU) at Uppsala University is hiring for a PhD-position./nThis doctoral position is part of HEPARD (Health Economic Policy Advice with Real-World Data), a Marie Skłodowska-Curie (MSCA) funded European doctoral network./nThis project investigates the socioeconomic and local environmental determinants of health capital accumulation and disease risk./nUsing Swedish registry data and quasi-experimental methods, it examines how access to preventive care and neighborhood characteristics influence long-term health trajectories./nThe work will focus on applying causal inference methods and advanced empirical techniques in health economics, using rich Swedish administrative health data./nPlacement: Workplace located at the Centre for Health Economic Research in Uppsala, City Uppsala, Country Sweden.
