PhD in Materials Chemistry

PhD position at Uppsala University, Department of Chemistry - Ångström Laboratory, located in Uppsala, Sweden. The research focuses on developing next-generation thermoelectric materials via nanoscale engineering using a "nanoparticle-in-alloy" design in an inorganic thin-film system. The project aims to tailor interface structure and electronic interactions between magnetic nanoparticles and a degenerated semiconductor matrix, using a synthesis route based entirely on physical vapor deposition. The research covers materials synthesis, thin-film deposition, advanced structural and magnetic characterization, thermoelectric and electronic transport measurements, and a theoretical component in collaboration with the Physics Department at Linköping University.
