This PhD project focuses on advancing the scientific computing foundations of quantum spin dynamics by developing efficient numerical algorithms for modeling complex, open quantum systems./nThe position is hosted by the Division of Scientific Computing (TDB) within the Department of Information Technology and will be jointly supervised and funded by the Division of Scientific Computing and the Division of Materials Theory in the Department of Physics and Astronomy./nPlacement: Uppsala. Starting date: 1 March 2026. Scope of employment: 100%.
