PhD position at Utrecht University (Department of Biology, Faculty of Science) studying root interactions with suberin-inducing microbes in crop roots, focusing on root development and plant-microbe interactions, using techniques including microscopy, fluorescent imaging, transcriptomics, metabolite profiling and high-throughput phenotyping./nLocation: Utrecht, Netherlands./nThe project studies suberin-inducing microbes interacting with sorghum roots, mapping microbial colonization and changes in suberin levels, and identifying signalling molecules and transcriptional integration.
