For 2025–2026, total mandatory cost per year for international/non-resident students is USD 36,762.00. Estimated total program cost for a 5-year PhD: USD 181,060.00 to USD 183,810.00. Most research-track PhD students receive full financial support via GTAs or GRAs, which typically include full tuition waiver (enrollment requirements apply), a monthly stipend of at least USD 2,747.00 for the 9-month academic year, a health insurance subsidy, and remission of the immigration services fee. Funded students remain responsible for certain fees (Comprehensive Fee, Commonwealth Facility & Equipment Fee).
