Fees and Funding

PhD candidates commonly have employment contracts and do not pay tuition fees. Funding must be guaranteed before starting. Scholarship candidates must have sufficient living allowance for the entire PhD trajectory; for candidates starting between January 1, 2026 and July 1, 2026 the cited amount is EUR 1950 per month, or alternatively an amount meeting the Dutch IND minimum income requirements.
