PhD in Plant Physiology

Two PhD positions within the REAP2SOW programme focusing on sustainable protein crops (quinoa, white lupin, and aardaker)./nPhD1 focuses on aardaker physiology, resilience, and genetics to create foundations for its future use in Dutch food systems./nPhD2 focuses on high-throughput phenotyping and bioinformatics across quinoa, white lupin, and aardaker to link genotype to phenotype and identify key traits for climate-resilient crop ideotypes./nResearch embedded within the Wageningen University Department of Plant Breeding (WU-PBR) with collaboration from Maastricht University chair of Plant Functional Genomics (UM-PFG), Wageningen Plant Research (WPR), and the Wageningen University Laboratory of Cell and Developmental Biology (WU-CDB)./nLocation: Wageningen, Netherlands.
