The David H. and Lorraine DeYoung Teacher Credential Scholarship was established and funded by David J. DeYoung and family in memory of David H., and Lorraine DeYoung (CSUF B.A.’68, M.S. ’78), both of whom had a lifelong passion for education.

Students pursuing multi-subject teacher credentials. To be used for tuition and other course related fees. Good Academic Standing Enrollment in College of Education Financial Need

How to Apply

Part 1: Log into your CSUF portal and click on the “Scholarships” button. Follow the onscreen instructions and complete the Scholarship Application. Do not submit application until all required documents have been uploaded (see part 2 & 3). Part 2: Provide two letters of recommendation, written in the last year, from faculty members who can speak to your potential for a career in education. Part 3: Type a one-page statement of financial need and how this scholarship will help you complete your career goals. Include a copy of your resume. Part 4: Complete and submit the College of Ed Scholarship Cover Page: https://forms.gle/f9L9AW56dmEb6RRM8
