International Freshman Scholarship

The International Freshman Scholarship program is available to any non-immigrant to the United States who is an incoming New Freshman student to Kent State University.

Secondary School Graduation Certificate/Diploma/Attending Certificate (Certified English translation and original language) Secondary School Transcripts/detailed mark sheets (Certified English translation and original language) Passport Biographical Page English Language Proficiency score SAT/ACT score Financial guarantee (bank statements) that show sufficient funds to cover educational and living expenses Kent State Affidavit of Financial Support, Students will be automatically considered for the scholarship upon admission to the university Priority consideration if admitted by the December 15th deadline, possible consideration if admitted by February 1st Preferred Application Deadlines: June 1 for Fall Semester Scholarship recipients will be notified of their award in April Students who meet the criteria will be invited to apply to the Honors College on a rolling basis after admission, Students who meet the criteria will be invited to apply to the Honors College on a rolling basis after admission.
