International Undergrad Amigo Scholarship
Overview
Each year, the International Amigo Scholarship is given to international students at the University of New Mexico in the United States.It is a sort of tuition fee waiver for students who are not residents of the United States.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be applying to the University of New Mexico for a Master's or Ph.D. degree.
A minimum of 3.0 in previous university courses is required.
The applicant's graduate programme nomination
Students enrolled in a full-time graduate degree programme in person are eligible.
A student must have a non-immigrant student visa to enter the United States (Preferably visa holders- F1, J1)
A student should be involved in University of New Mexico research, project assistantships, or teaching.
There has been no previous attendance at UNM at the present application degree level.
How to Apply
As soon as they accept a position in a UNM graduate programme, all graduate students will be considered for the International Amigo scholarship, and the nomination will be done by the corresponding department.
The International Amigo Scholarship does not require a separate application;
Applicants are chosen by the university's academic departments. It will be given out in a manner that is representative of the department.
Once the nomination priority deadline has passed, a department can only receive a total of 10 Amigo offers.
