Narotam Sekhsaria’s Scholarships

Narotam Sekhsaria’s Scholarship is given by the Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation (NSF) established by Narotam Sekhsaria. Narotam Sekhsaria is the founder and CEO of Ambuja Cement (earlier Gujrat Ambuja). He belongs to the family of cotton traders from Rajasthan. He went to the prestigious Elphinstone College in Mumbai and pursued a Bachelor degree in chemical engineering at the University Department of Chemical Technology (UDCT). He is one of the biggest philanthropists in India. Narotam Sekhsaria established Narotam Sekhsaria’s Foundation in 2022 for social welfare activities in the field of health, education and employment generation through its self designed programmes and partnerships with other organizations to support their projects. Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation believes in promoting excellence and innovation by providing financial support to students and mid-career professional through various scholarships and fellowship programmes. Through its scholarship porgrammes the Foundation aims to enable meritorious Indian students to pursue postgraduate studies in top universities and colleges in India and Abroad. The NSF scholarship programme is a merit-based scholarship programme awarded to very few students who meet the high standard criteria set by the Foundation. The programmes award scholarships as interest-free loans to students aiming to pursue PG courses. The students awarded this scholarship are assigned a mentor to guide them in their endeavour to become professionals in their fields and motivate them to strive for excellence.
