Yale Scholarship is offered by the Yale University . Yale Scholarship is awarded to Bachelors Degree students who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement and the potential to contribute to the university community. This Need Based scholarship will be given on a yearly basis. The scholarship amount can be used for tuition,living,accommodation. The maximum scholarship amount a student can get is USD 70000. . Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship if they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. In this case, they need not submit a separate application for applying to this scholarship. Students must have taken the 12th grade to be eligible for this scholarship. To be eligible for this award, international students must take English language examinations as well as standardised exams like TOEFL, IELTS, PTE and SAT. Letters of Recommendation (LORs): Counselor recommendation and two teacher evaluations required Essays: Applicants must write two essays – one for the Common Application essay, and another Yale-specific essay For the Common Application, applicants must choose two of the following topics and respond to each in 250 words or fewer: What do they most enjoy learning? Reflect on their engagement with a community to which they belong How do they feel they have contributed to this community? Write on something that they would like the University to know about what they have not conveyed elsewhere in the application? Applicants selected in one of the computer science or engineering majors must provide additional information about their interest in this field of study, experiences in computer science or engineering, and what appeals to them about Yale’s program in this area in 500 words or fewer School Report: Including transcripts required Proof of SAT/ACT scores, if applicable Proof of English Language Proficiency scores Supplementary Materials: Any other supplementary materials like academic work, extra recommendations in support of the application Mid-year Report: For applicants who have received new grades in the middle of the school year CSS Profile: The CSS Profile has a submission fee Fee waivers are available for eligible students to prevent this cost from being a barrier to financial aid Copies of Tax Returns: Copies of tax returns of parents and students (or equivalent documentation) – When submitting documents, please include the student’s name and date of birth on each page No Separate Application: No separate application is required for the scholarship Application Deadlines: QuestBridge: November 5, 2021 Early Action: November 19, 2021 Regular Decision: February 25, 2022 Interviews: Interviews are an optional part of the application process at Yale During the 2022-2023 admissions cycle, all interviews will be conducted virtually Because of limited virtual interviewing capacity, the Office of Undergraduate Admissions will prioritize interviews for students for whom the Admissions Committee needs more information ELP Waiver: Applicants who have studied in a school/college where English was a primary language of instruction will be exempted from the English Language Proficiency (ELP) requirement, What do they most enjoy learning?
