Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering program at the University of New Haven, offered through the Tagliatela College of Engineering, prepares students to design, analyze, and manage complex engineered, human, and organizational systems. The curriculum provides a strong foundation in science, mathematics, and engineering through a Multidisciplinary Engineering Foundation Spiral Curriculum and specialized Industrial and Systems Engineering courses. Students learn to apply their knowledge to design engineering systems, conduct experiments, and analyze data to improve operations and systems. The program culminates in a two-course, year-long design project where students collaborate on an industry-sponsored project with faculty guidance.
