Cornell Financial Aid Grants - Cornell meets 100 percent of admitted undergraduates' demonstrated financial need with annual aid offers that include Cornell grants, an annual work-study award, and reasonable student loans. Nearly 50% of all undergraduate students receive these grants, which do not need to be repaid. Undergraduates from families earning up to $125,000, with typical assets, receive grant and scholarship aid that covers tuition. Students from families earning up to $75,000 receive grants, scholarships and work-study that cover the full cost of attendance. All financial aid awarded by Cornell is based on financial need; merit, athletic, or talent-based aid is not offered to international students. For U.S. students, the admission process is 'need-blind,' while international applicants' admission decisions are 'need-aware'.
