Overview

Department of Art & Design Scholarships and Awards - Applications open January 15th. Supplemental application materials, such as a portfolio, may be requested for studio-based awards.; Natalka Horeczko Scholarship in Painting and Print Design (Undergraduate) - Awarded annually to an undergraduate with superior academic achievement entering the third or fourth year of studies, specializing in painting or printmaking in the BFA degree program.; The Anna Bychinsky Fine Arts Award in Art and Design (Undergraduate) - Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in the second or third year of any undergraduate degree in the Department of Art and Design. Selection is based on demonstrated accomplishment and promise in Art and Design, and academic standing.; Margaret Andrekson Scholarship in Art History (Undergraduate) - Awarded annually to a student with superior academic achievement entering the third or fourth year of studies with a BA or BA Honors in the History of Art, Design, and Visual Culture.; Universiade '83 Undergraduate Scholarships - Awarded to students with first-class standing who have demonstrated excellence in athletics or fine arts. Eligible students are automatically considered.; International Excellence Scholarship (CAD 5,000) - For top international students based on academic performance (automatically considered).; Regional Excellence Scholarship (CAD 5,000) - For outstanding students from certain regions (automatically considered).; Gold Standard Scholarship (CAD 6,000) - Awarded to the top 5% of students in each faculty (automatically considered).; President's International Distinction Scholarship (CAD 120,000) - Up to CAD 120,000 for exceptional international students with strong leadership skills (requires separate application after admission).; Chan Pang Yun Memorial International Distinction Scholarship (CAD 120,000) - Up to CAD 120,000 for students with outstanding academic and leadership qualities (requires separate application after admission).; International Leaders Scholarship (CAD 15,000) - Up to CAD 15,000 for well-rounded students with academic and leadership achievements (requires separate application after admission).; Alexander Rutherford Scholarship (CAD 2,500) - For undergraduate students, value up to CAD 2,500.
