The Bachelor of Science in Geomatics at Laval University, offered by the Faculty of Forestry, Geography and Geomatics, provides a comprehensive education in the mathematical, legal, and technological aspects of land information. This program equips graduates with the skills to measure and collect data about the Earth, process it to produce precise measurements, plans, maps, and information systems, and offer professional advice in the field. The curriculum includes advanced scientific knowledge in surveying, geodesy, digital cartography, technical drawing, airborne surveys, hydrography, and satellite positioning. Practical training is a cornerstone of the program, integrated through courses, laboratories, intensive practical work sessions, and real-world projects in the final year. Additionally, it covers legal concepts related to territory, including urban planning, land use law, real estate law, land expertise, and cadastre. This program is uniquely positioned as the only bachelor's program in Quebec that grants access to the Ordre des arpenteurs-gÃ©omÃ¨tres du QuÃ©bec (OAGQ).

Citizens of the World Scholarships (CAD 12,500) - Up to CAD 20,000 or CAD 5,000 for up to 4 years, based on academic excellence.; Knollenberg Foundation (CAD 3,500) - For innovative environmental projects (CAD 2,000 to 5,000).; Tuition Fee Exemption Program - Exempts eligible international students from paying the supplemental tuition fee, allowing them to pay the same tuition as QuÃ©bec students.; Departmental awards - Scholarships available through the Bureau des bourses et de l'aide financiÃ¨re and the Faculty of Forestry, Geography and Geomatics.
