Overview

The Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Astronomy program at the University of Victoria provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the universe. Students will conduct research, develop problem-solving skills, and learn to see the sky in a new way. The curriculum allows students to explore various aspects of the universe, including gravity, relativity, quantum mechanics, and galaxies, with opportunities for hands-on learning and research projects with experts. The program also offers unique opportunities to stargaze using one of the largest celestial telescopes on any North American university campus, and includes co-op placements for practical experience.
