The Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Counselling Skills and Psychology at the University of Chester offers a comprehensive exploration of the human mind, covering mental health, counselling theory, and developmental psychology. This program is designed to develop a strong foundation in counselling theory and practical counselling skills. Students will delve into various counselling and therapeutic perspectives, understand the counselling process for diverse groups, and develop essential project management skills and research integrity. The curriculum progresses from foundational knowledge in counselling theory and practice in Year 1, to in-depth study of research methods, social and individual differences, and advanced counselling theories in Year 2.
