The Agricultural and Heavy Equipment diploma program at Olds College focuses on the principles and practices of operating, maintaining, and repairing agricultural and heavy machinery. Olds College Awards (CAD 500,000) - Over 450 awards valued at over $500,000 annually are available. Students have access to 475 scholarships, bursaries, and prizes valued at over $1,000,000 each year.; Entrance Awards (CAD 875) - Range from $250 - $1,500 for students applying for the upcoming academic year and who have paid the tuition deposit by the deadline. Selected randomly from qualified applicants.; Program Specific Awards - Includes Agriculture Awards, 4-H Alberta Scholarships, Canadian Agri-Business Education Foundation (CABEF) Awards, and more.; Jason Lang Scholarship - Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person, continuing in full-time post-secondary studies, and an Alberta resident. Requires a minimum GPA of 3.5 on an 80% full course load in the previous fall and winter term.; Louise McKinney Scholarship - Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person, continuing in full-time post-secondary studies, and an Alberta resident. Awarded to students among the top 15 academic students.
