Overview

The Diagnostic Imaging program at Dawson College leads to a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) in Diagnostic Imaging Technology. Offered through the Science, Medical Studies & Engineering faculty, this program was updated and revised in 2020 to prepare students for roles as Medical Imaging Technologists (MIT) in hospitals and private clinics. The curriculum provides comprehensive training in various specialty imaging modalities, including Mobile Radiography, Radioscopy, CT, and MRI. Students gain invaluable hands-on experience both on campus and through clinical stages in health facilities, ensuring they are well-prepared for professional practice.
